What an open and honest reflection– I think it will resonate with many
There is a place for humor and it is a powerful tool for classroom management– but the idea of balance and having an awareness of your “performance” effect on all students is key– and will continue to be key- So now the question is – what are your next steps to solidify your performance and working with some of your students — what steps and ideas do you have– did you follow up with their coaches– talk to them individually— and yes it is a learning experience–
I hear double chins are in fashion…. but I am elderly and do not have my finger of the pulse of what young people find cool..
